This is a vintage workbox stool C 1960s . It has been handpainted with a wildflower meadow on the outside which wraps right around all four sides. The interior has been painted red with polkadots to echo the spotty fabric used to create a new padded lid . 
The fabric for the top of the stool is an original artwork made using applique and freemotion machine embroidery .
